We are well and truly ready to provide a safe and positive experience for all people in the outdoors.

As we emerge from an extended period of extraordinary media coverage of COVID-19, along with social isolation, lockdowns and other restrictions, it is natural that some of us may be a little wary of going on camp.

Please be assured that we’ve worked hard during the lockdown period to ensure that our host camps and their activities, our staff and our procedures have been thoroughly reviewed and developed as necessary to keep everyone on camp happy and healthy.

People Outdoors only uses camps that are members of the Australian Camps Association (ACA) and are accredited 'Quality Tourism' Businesses. ACA members are highly professional and have a long-standing culture of compliance. The outdoor sector is well regulated and has a reputation for quality delivery to groups of all types – schools, older people, faith groups, clubs, disability groups and many more.

While camps and outdoor activity providers work tirelessly to be as COVID-19 safe as possible, it is also important not to forget the many positive physical, mental, social and emotional benefits of camps and outdoor recreation. Put simply, being active outdoors is the best way to overcome the stresses and anxieties of social isolation, remote schooling and other COVID-19 restrictions!

We look forward to seeing all of our campers back out enjoying their time on camp very soon. If you have any questions about camp please contact the office on 03 9863 6824.
