Update from the People Outdoors Head Office: April 2024
Can you believe we’re at the end of April already? 2024 is in full-swing, and we’re thrilled to report that we had a successful inaugural camp on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland in March. We had a fantastic time and one of our campers gave us a wonderful testimonial.
"It was so much fun and I REALLY want to go again, especially if there is canoeing!" - Angus Davidson
Angus' mum also had some lovely words to share.
"It was a wonderful, positive experience for him and he hasn’t stopped telling people about it." - Kirra Davidson
We're glad to be able to help facilitate these experiences for campers and their families.
It's also time to announce our new calendar through to December 2024. You can view our upcoming programs here or download the pdf calendar further in this newsletter.
Early this year, we were successful in completing a NDIS Audit - a fantastic achievement by the team. NDIS Audits happen every three years and involve auditors looking at our practices to ensure we are compliant with NDIS requirements.
Since January we’ve held ten camps and we have five more before the end of financial year. We have places available on the following camps:
Please get in touch with us, if you or someone you care for, is interested in joining us on one of the above camps. If you have not been on a People Outdoors camp before, we will require you to complete the online Referral Form.
The team have been working hard to spread the word about our program, particularly interstate, but we would love your help. If you’re not following us on social media, we’d appreciate a ‘follow’ and if you can share our post to your connections, we’d really appreciate it.
We look forward to seeing you on camp!
Kind Regards,
Sandra Murphy
